This image shows the region around the galaxy M99 in Coma Berenices.
M99 is the bright face-on spiral in the lower right.
The two edge-on spirals on the left areNGC4302 and NGC4298.
The image is a stack of 6 eight minute exposures using an 8" f/9 corrected Cassegrain reflector.
The image was calibrated, defect-corrected and stacked, and a simple gamma stretch was performed using AIP4WINV2.
This image has been resampled down from its original size of 1781x1336.
