This image shows the spiral galaxies M95 (right) and M96 (left) in Leo. The image is a stack of 16 eight minute exposures using an 8" f/9 corrected Cassegrain reflector. The image was calibrated, defect-corrected and stacked and a sigmoid scaling was performed using AIP4WINV2. This image has been resampled down from its original size of 2004x1336.
