This image shows the region around M77 in Cetus, including NGC1055, NGC1090, NGC1007 and members of the Abell381 galaxy cluster. A chart of this region is shown below. This image was acquired using an SBIG STL11000M CCD camera mounted on a Tele Vue NP127is. This image is a stack of 11 eight-minute exposures. It has been Sigmoid scaled using AIP4Win V2 to reveal faint details while still retaining the galaxy cores. This image has been cropped and resampled down from its original size of 4008x2672.
