M53, globular cluster in Coma Berenices.
It is a composite of a stack of 16 one-minute exposures taken through a luminance filter,
and stacks of 8 one-minute exposures taken through red, green and blue filters.
The exposures were acquired with a QSI532 CCD camera through a Tele Vue NP127is 5" f/5.2 apochromatic refractor.
The images were calibrated, defect-corrected and stacked, deconvolved, and a Sigmoid Scaling was
applied and then they were color combined and auto-balanced with all processing performed using AIP4WIN V2.
This image has been cropped from its original size of 2140x1460.
