This image shows the galaxy group known as Copeland's Septet in Leo. This group is also cataloged as Hickson 57 and Arp 320. The image is a stack of 16 eight minute exposures using an 8" f/9 corrected Cassegrain reflector. The image was calibrated, defect-corrected and stacked, deconvolved and a sigmoid scaling was performed using AIP4WINV2. This image has been cropped from its original size of 2004x1336.
