The spiral galaxy NGC5128 a.k.a. Centaurus A in Centaurus. This image is a stack of 16 two minute exposures acquired with an ST-10XME CCD camera through a Tele Vue NP101 4" f/5.4 refractor with a 0.8x focal reducer. The images were calibrated and stacked using AIP4WIN V2. This image has been resampled down from its original size of 2184x1472.
This image was taken at the Lake Atitlán, Guatemala observatory of Adriana Sherman
